We made this video to describe the New Youth City Learning Project in New York City, but at Startl we share exactly the same values and beliefs about learning. In fact, Startl’s job is to help mature the talent and evolve the tools that can make projects like New Youth City Learning go from vision to reality. We hope you’ll join us in this (ad)venture.

Diana Rhoten is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Startl.

Much of what you discussed resonated with me. Taking the complex and filtering it into something that the learner can relate to is a challenge of any learning designer. Beyond that barrier, we have the challenge of institutional control (or at least their perception of control) and caution towards giving it (control) to the learner. I am looking forward to your future posts and videos.
