High Schooler’s Animated Video Inspires Science Fair Participation – Can an App?

[ 0 ] January 3, 2011 |

Whether you’re a parent of a student who has the project due for the science fair the next day (and inevitably helping), a teacher looking to inspire or an entrepreneur looking to ask “is there an app for that?”, Kevin Temmer has an idea for you.

Kevin, a senior International Baccalaureate high school student, created an animated short to teach middle school children about the science fair.

I ran a search in the app store for “Science Fair” and found limited results and none that would provide a framework or instructions for a science project and moreover, show how to use the technology in phones (GPS, accelerometer data, etc.) to create top-notch science fair projects.

So entrepreneurs looking to help shock the education system – do you have an app for that?
