TheCourseBook Selected for Kauffman Labs Education Ventures Program

A Startl Design Boost alumn, TheCourseBook, was selected among more than 800 applicants to participate in the Education Ventures Program, an intensive program designed to catalyze the creation of high-growth companies in the education sector, organized by the Kauffman Foundation.

TheCourseBook connects lifelong-learners with great learning experiences.  Listing about 2000 (and counting) classes in the San Francisco Bay Area, the site allows users to look through courses based on the school, budget, schedule, location and interest.  From language and arts, technical training to accounting and certification classes a learner can find classes to help in career advancement, pursue a personal passion or simply find a continuing ed class to share with friends.

TheCourseBook team participated in Startl’s November 2010 Design Boost.
