As reported in TechCrunch, Course Hero – a popular resource for study guides, lecture notes, flashcards , practice exams and lecture videos is acquiring the in-home, in-person tutoring business of Cardinal Scholars from InstaEDU.

InstaEDU built Cardinal Scholars at Stanford as a way to connect top-tier university students who need jobs with K-12 kids who need a leg up to ace a test or get into a good school. But since it recently pivoted into online video tutoring and rebranded as InstaEDU, Course Hero will make a better home for Cardinal Scholars.

The addition of Cardinal Scholars to Course Hero will provide the local, real-world touch allowing learners to find tutors in their area.

The acquisition sum was not disclosed.
