- Engages learners’ interests (e.g., sports, design, music, animals) while advancing skills and competencies like critical thinking, systems thinking, problem solving or subject expertise
- Bridges in-school and out-of-school, online and offline learning by helping learners identify new and connect existing learning experiences
- Builds, supports, and connects communities of learners and mentors of different ages, locations, and skill levels but who share common learning interests and goals
- Enables users to demonstrate individual skills and competencies as well as show and share the results of their learning
- Provides learner with feedback on performance and progress in real-time and over time
Boost is a Team Sport
- Need at least one programmer/builder, plus others with user product design, learning science, business management, and/or marketing/ financing experience
- Commitment to learning goals
- Robust entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong execution skills
- Intention of staying with the product beyond the program
